Positioned on a hillside about 20 minutes’ walk from the village of
Loggos, this newly renovated property commands fantastic views over
Loggos and across the Ionian Sea to the Greek mainland. It is a
fascinating combination of an old Paxiot house and its outbuildings, now
converted into bedrooms, with expansive terraces, gardens and a swimming
pool.
The main house, which sleeps six, comprises an open plan living room and
kitchen area, plus a larger kitchen that is made available when there is
full occupancy. Both kitchen and living room are fully equipped, the
lounge with satellite TV and a DVD player, the kitchen with dishwasher
and serving hatch/window onto one of the terraces. A door also leads
from the kitchen onto a second terrace with BBQ area. The sleeping
quarters consist of two double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms,
and a twin room also with its own bathroom.
A newly added house has just been completed overlooking the whole estate
and out to sea. This comprises a double bedroom with a full size luxury
bathroom and shower in one part and in the other a very large area with
sitting room, two sets of double bunk-beds and a double luxury shower
and washing area.
Also in this section of the house there are two single bedrooms with
luxury private bathrooms and shower plus a tea making area with its own
fridge.
Across the terraces, but just a few steps from the main
house, another of the original outbuildings has been converted into a
further bedroom, with its own ensuite bathroom. Further facilities
include a shower room for the pool area, with double shower, wash basin
and changing area, and a laundry room with
washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and an outside ironing area (under
cover).
Surrounding the house is a lovely garden with childrens’ play area, with
a tree playhouse, pirate ship and swimming pool, and a variety of
terraces, all with wonderful views and flagged with stone specially
brought in from Puglia in southern Italy.
Inside the house and throughout the bedrooms the stenciled patterns on
the bedroom walls, the top class bathroom furniture and shower fittings,
the antique beds and stylish blankets and covers also reflect the taste
and attention to detail lavished on this stunning property by its owner.
