HOLIDAY COURSES AND ACTIVITIES IN
SUMMER 2010


For Summer 2010, we are once again working in association with Paxos Life Activities, of which Chris Griffiths, our Marketing Director, is the joint owner. This enables us to provide a wide range of special interest holiday courses and activities, through which visitors to Paxos may have the opportunity to learn more about the culture and history of the island, and to see it from a different perspective.

Paxos Life Activities has expanded its programme for Summer 2010 and we can therefore now offer courses in painting, photography, yoga and self–development, along with a number of creative writing courses: ‘Unleash Your Creativity’, ‘My Life – My Story’, ‘Writing for Children’ and ‘Writing About Paxos’. Most of the courses include accommodation in villas featured on this website but, for anyone who wishes to be more independent, it is also possible just to join the group tuition sessions.

We are also able to arrange bareboat and skippered yacht charter, and a number of cultural activities, including 'Greek Cookery', 'The Olive and the Vine', ‘Historical Walks’ and 'Greek Dancing'.

Launches Summer 2010 Programme

MUSIC FESTIVALS

Details of the 2010 Music Festivals are not yet available. In 2009 details were as follows:

Paxos Spring Music Festival 2009

Paxos International Music Festival 2009
25, 27, 29 August & 1, 3 September at 8:30 p.m.

The concerts that make up the International Music Festival will be directed by Caroline Palmer, Professor of Piano and Chamber Music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.  As in previous years, a group of prize-winning young musicians will be performing a range of chamber music at the Old School House in Loggos, following intensive rehearsal and study sessions while on the island.
